WHAT TO EXPECT — A 30-MINUTE GLOW-UP
Before Your Hydrafacial:
You'll start by removing any makeup or skincare products. Your LaserAway clinician will walk you through what to expect and personalize the treatment based on your skin's needs.
During Your Hydrafacial:
Your clinician will begin the treatment with cleansing and fusing passes as they cycle through each step of the treatment: Exfoliate, peel, extract, and hydrate. As an added bonus, LaserAway Hydrafacials include professional strength LED red light therapy via the LightStim Elipsa to seal and protect your results.
After Your Hydrafacial:
After, your clinician will show you everything that was extracted during your service (AKA the "gunkie"!). Then they'll apply a soothing hydroserum mask, followed by sunscreen.

Discomfort level: None (just a slight tingle)

How long does a Hydrafacial take?
About 30 minutes. Your clinician will begin the treatment with the cleansing + exfoliating tip and cycle through the remaining four steps (peel, extract, hydrate and LED). They will then apply your skincare and send you on your way.

How many Hydrafacial treatments will I need?
It depends on your skincare goals. We find that while results are noticeable after one treatment, most patients opt to have routine Hydrafacial treatments as a regular part of their SkinFitness™ regimen.

What does a Hydrafacial treatment feel like?
As the handpiece and solutions glide over your skin, you will feel a tiny vacuum sensation; most patients report it to be generally comfortable and soothing.

How often should I get a Hydrafacial?
To maximize results, we recommend that you schedule Hydrafacial treatments one to four weeks apart.

Will I experience any side effects after a Hydrafacial treatment?
Hydrafacial treatments tend to be gentle, and they're specifically designed to minimize side effects. Immediately after your treatment, you may experience mild redness and/or a subtle tingling sensation but these side effects usually subside shortly.

Can you get a Hydrafacial while pregnant?
No. At LaserAway, we don't treat patients who are pregnant.

How long do Hydrafacial results last?
Hydrafacial produces instant and long-lasting results. In the short term, you can expect your skin to look and feel supremely hydrated and dewey. In addition, assessments have shown a 70% increase in skin hydration as well as a 95% reduction in baseline sebum and dirt up to eight weeks post treatment. But to keep those results, we recommend incorporating Hydrafacial into your regular routine.

Is there anyone who shouldn't get Hydrafacial?
Hydrafacial may not be suitable for patients with active acne/cystic acne or pustules, those with infection, lesions, eczema, psoriasis, or cold sores, and those with recent sunburns. That's why we require you to have a free consultation prior to your first treatment, where you'll talk us through your skin history and we'll assess whether the treatment is right for you.
